AccessPath Inc. ("AccessPath," "we," "our," or "us") operates the website at accesspath.app. We are a platform that connects students with internships, scholarships, mentorships, and opportunities from real organizations.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our site or join our waitlist, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Information we collect

Waitlist sign-ups

When you join our waitlist we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• An optional field (e.g. your school, company name, or a brief note)
• Whether you are signing up as a student or as an organization

Automatically collected information

When you visit our site, we may automatically receive standard server log data such as your IP address, browser type, and referring URL. We use this only for security and abuse prevention.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. This service collects anonymous, aggregated data and does not track individual users across sites or build advertising profiles.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Send you a confirmation email when you join the waitlist
• Notify you when your cohort opens or when the platform launches
• Communicate relevant updates about AccessPath
• Prevent spam and abuse of our services
• Understand how our site is used so we can improve it

We will never sell your personal information to third parties.

4. How we share your information

We share your information only with the following service providers, who process it solely on our behalf:

• Supabase — secure database hosting (United States)
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Vercel — website hosting and analytics

We may also disclose your information where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of AccessPath, our users, or others.

5. Data retention

We retain your waitlist data until the platform launches and you have had an opportunity to create an account, or until you request deletion — whichever comes first. After that, we delete or anonymize it within 30 days.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Object to or restrict how we process your information
• Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)

7. Cookies

Our launch page does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Vercel may set functional cookies necessary for website operation. We do not use any third-party advertising or retargeting cookies.

8. Children's privacy

AccessPath is intended for high school and college students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not submit your information. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at privacy@accesspath.app.

9. Security

We store your data in Supabase with row-level security enabled and access controls in place. We use HTTPS for all data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we encourage you not to share sensitive information beyond what is necessary.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
